Our story

In the early 1990’s, Conduct Culture founder, Andy Sutherland began his career as a Financial Advisor. Towards the end of the same decade Andy was seconded to work on the first major past business review in Financial Services (the SIB Pension Transfer Review). This led to a change in direction and a move towards compliance and regulation working as a freelance consultant.

Between 2009 and 2019 Andy worked in regulatory advisory roles for EY, Huntswood and TCC. This involved leading teams of regulatory consultants, acting as a Skilled Person (leading Section 166 Reviews) and working with clients of varying scale across multiple sectors.

Throughout this time, Andy has stuck to one simple truth.

“Get culture right and everything else falls into place.”
